SECTION 1

SCOPE

Intertek Building & Construction (B&C) was contracted by Roysons Corporation, 40 Vanderhoof

Avenue, Rockaway, NJ 07866, to perform testing in accordance with NFPA 259-2018 Edition,

Standard Test Method for Potential Heat of Building Materials, on their Terralon Wallcovering.

Results obtained are tested values and were secured by using the designated test method(s).

Testing was conducted at Intertek test facility in Middleton, WI.

Intertek B&C will service this report for the entire test record retention period. The test record

retention period ends four years after the test date. Test records, such as detailed drawings,

datasheets, representative samples of test specimens (where required by Certification or

Accreditation bodies), or other pertinent project documentation, will be retained for the entire

test record retention period.


SECTION 2

SUMMARY OF TEST RESULTS

The standard has no specified performance requirements. Terralon Wallcovering has a Potential

Heat of Combustion of 8094.692 (Btu/lb), 18824.853 (kJ/kg).

Test samples were provided by the client. Samples were received at the Evaluation Center on

February 2, 2021 in good condition verified by Sample ID# MID2102021038-001.

SECTION 6

TEST PROCEDURE

Testing was conducted in accordance with Chapter 6-Oxygen Bomb Calorimeter Test Procedure

and Chapter 7- Electric Muffle Furnace Procedure of the standard.

There were no deviations from the standard.


SECTION 7

TEST SPECIMEN DESCRIPTION

A roll approximately 4.5’ in length with approximately 2 yards of material was provided. The

material was grey in color on one side and white on the other. Random sections were cut out and

used to generate samples by Intertek.
