Customer Question - How long after installation is it safe to remove the wallcovering without damaging my drywall surface?  I had my wallpaper put on the wall 60 days ago but I am not happy with the look and we want it removed so we can start over.

Answer:   Dreamscape Wallcoverings are engineered to be strippable / removable.    How easily they can be removed depends on the condition of the underlying drywall,  the type of adhesive used during installation,  and whether or not a suitable wall primer was used.    Assuming the condition of the drywall was sound at the start,  the installer used a suitable primer,  and an appropriate adhesive was used,  we would expect an average installation to be fully cured after 21 days.

In our research,  lab tests have confirmed that this is an adequate time for moisture from the paste to evaporate.   Once the adhesive is fully cured,  the wallcovering should be able to be peeled off the wall without damage to the dry wall surface.

*high humidity can increase the adhesive cure time.
